BXC-51 v5.0 Released
April 1, 1995 Today, Binary Technology released BXC-51 v5.0. This version supports derivative chips 8xC550, 8xC552. Users can now define their own functions, e.g. DEF FN F(X)=X**2+4. Users can define commands with assembly linkage (-bxxx, .BXL files). Users can define functions with assembly linkage. Multiple line IF-THEN-ELSE statement are now supported. We added integration so -sim invokes simulator after compile. The DEFASM command now supports label name, not just hex address. Added binary number types - ending with B. Compatibility: BXC-51 runs on PC-DOS or MS-DOS Version 2.0 or later with a minimum of 384K of RAM and one floppy drive. Tavve Software Co. provided the software services to Binary Technology for this upgrade.
