| HanoverSoft Releases MAE for Software Development
January 19, 2024 Today, HanoverSoft released MAE, the Multi-Application Ecosystem platform for software development. "We have used this platform over the years for our client engagements. Now we're releasing it as its own product," said Anthony Edwards, Principal at HanoverSoft. The platform solves many of the inter-app communication and rapid technology change problems faced by software developers. Most recently, a client developed a SaaS website with a REST API interface using MAE. There are many software development tools available on the market today. Asked why MAE stands out, Edwards said, "Although MAE is very versatile, we are positioning it today as a migration path to modernize legacy software on the one hand and IoT distributed computing on the other." MAE creates an ecosystem of resources for applications, transparently spread across servers, including a virtual file system and web-enabled terminal emulation, using a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). "Our professional services team will be using MAE to rapidly develop REST API servers for clients," Edwards added.
